It was a dinosaur!
Today when Nursery returned to Forest Schools they found the empty nest and not one, but lots and lots of very friendly little dinosaurs.
We had a fantastic time hunting for the little visitors and then listening to the sounds that they made as they flew around the sky above us. At the end of Forest Schools, we left the little dinosaurs in the nest so that their mummy would find them when she returned.
