Lego Therapy
LEGO therapy is designed to en-courage interaction and collabora-tive working. Children will take it in turns each session to take on the role of either engineer, supplier and builder. Each role has a set of rules they have to follow. The group will need to work together to make a LEGO model. Lego Therapy encourages sharing, communication, problem solving and reinforces posi-tive behaviour.
Children who require support/help with developing their communication and social skills to enable them to build positive relationships with their peers.
Each week children will take part in 1 x 20 minute sessions for 6 weeks.
This will be done at the beginning and end of the intervention to identify the area of need using the Lego Therapy Assessment Tool.
