This week in Year 3 we have been using our knowledge of the properties of 3D shapes to create 3D models. We used mini marshmallows, spaghetti and cocktail sticks to investigate how much equipment we would need and which would be the stronger structure. The children were able to recall and use the correct vocabulary of faces, edges and vertices in their discussions. It was great to see the children working collaboratively, solving problems and being successful
