Year 3 have been reading, planning, writing and performing this week. We have used ‘free verse poetry’ to tell a story of the foods we love just like Michael Rosen.

He has inspired the children to be more creative and use more imaginary in their writing. Watching how he performs has helped them to understand pause, making eye contact with the audience and the use of actions.

They have written some great free verse poetry.
