The nursery children had lots of fun taking part in the NSPCC Number event. It was lovely to see the children working hard with their parents completing the activities and for the parents that joined us to be so enthusiastic joining in with the activities. We did lots of counting in loud and quiet voices in order to warm up our number brains and fingers and then we had a lovely story all about counting – One to ten and back again. We then completed lots of activities such as decorating numbers, measuring with our feet and making symmetrical butterflies
