This week, Y6 attended Veolia for a workshop based on recycling. We discovered what happens to the rubbish that we put in our recycling bin and how it is sorted at the centre into recycling.

We completed a quiz and were really competitive!

Did you know that juice cartons, fruit punnets and pizza boxes aren’t recyclable?

Then we wore our hard hats and hi-vis jackets to go on a tour to see the recycling in action!

We will now use this knowledge for our end outcome writing
