Castles
This week in vehicle we were set a special challenge by Sherwood Bear.
We were tasked with finding out more about castles! We learned that castles were built a long time ago to protect people and keep them safe from enemies. They were also homes for important people like kings and queens.
We explored the key features of a castle, including the tall towers, strong stone walls, battlements, a drawbridge, a moat, and the keep at the centre.
To show what we had learned, we drew our own castles and carefully labelled all the important parts. We worked really hard and created some fantastic detailed drawings!
