The nursery children worked extremely hard last week to make their own instruments. We have been exploring the theme of rain in our vehicle sessions and have created our own versions of rainmakers to make our own music. We did this by using some junk modelling resources and filling them with rice or pasta. We then had lots of fun decorating them. All the children have explored how these can be used to create sounds and have tried to use them to create loud and quiet sounds. We are very proud of the instruments we have created and they have made a wonderful display!
