Nursery have been getting into the Coronation spirit early this week and learnt a fun fact that King Charles is an artist! He loves to paint landscapes using watercolours. The children looked at some of his paintings and then became artists themselves to copy one of his works. We think they did a fantastic job!

Their paintings are going to be entered into our very own Holgate Primary Coronation Art competition in a couple of weeks’ time which is going to be judged by two local artists from Hucknall – Donna Brown Mural Artist and Mozh from Mozh School of Art which we are really excited about!
