Last week in nursery we started our Talking Points sessions. These sessions help us to think about ourselves and share our ideas about different topics within our group and are always based around a story. The story we looked at this week was ‘I’m Special I’m Me’. The children thought about what makes them special and who are the special people in their lives. The children came up with some lovely ideas.

One child said “I can do drawings” and another child said “I’m special to my Mama”.

We then spoke about our fingerprints being special to us because they are all unique and no one else has the same fingerprints in the whole world as our own. We then made a print of our own fingerprints to put into our Talking Points floor book.
