Year 3 have been researching books that have moving parts this week for our D & T project. We looked at books with sliders, levers, flaps and images that pop up or fold out. The children had lots of discussions about how the mechanism would work as this could not be seen. Our next lesson was a practical - making the lever, using fixed and moving pivots and using our imagination to design an image to add to the lever.
