What a fabulous outdoor geography lesson we had this week in Year 3!

As part of our vehicle and geography work, we have been using Google Maps to look at the local area and old mining sites. We have also looked at the map symbols used in a key and we have been talking about the use of a compass. It was great to see the children working in groups to draw their own compass and use this knowledge of North, South, East and West to move in different directions.
