Our perimeter work was needed for real purposes this week. Pupils now understand that the perimeter of a room or space is really important to know: when buying a new carpet, a piece of furniture or a picture for the wall. We then used this knowledge and went outside to measure practically. Year 3’s now have the skills to help out at home if you are doing some DIY.
