Look at these wonderful pencil sketches the children have completed this week! After looking at the Davy lamp in class as part of our ‘Battle of the mine’ vehicle, we practised the skills of pencil drawing: hatching, cross-hatching, stippling, tone and shade. Then we sketched the outline, added more detail and finished off with tone and shade. Well done Year 3, you have done a great job!
