This week, Year 5 have been exploring the continent of South America for our Geography work linked to our Vehicle. We used an atlas to locate the continent and then found key countries including Brazil, Ecuador and Chile. After this, we used the maps to find the capital cities of the countries. Later in the lesson, we explored 4 figure grid references and used these to locate places on a map of Brazil.
