On Thursday last week, 3AR completed our 2-week science experiment to determine what are the best conditions for seeds to germinate.

The children were able to explain that water was required for germination, and could explain why the ‘no light’ pot produced duller leaves and is starting to go yellow.

The children also developed their digital skills by using Keynote to record their thoughts and their pictures throughout the past couple of weeks.

Perhaps you could grow some things with your child and they could bring it in for show and tell.
