On Tuesday, 6AR went to Veolia, a Material Recovery Facility in Mansfield as part of their learning about reusing, reducing and recycling. They learned about what can and cannot be recycled (there were some surprises!) and some quick tips on remembering these. They also did a tour of the facility in action, seeing the process of recycling and seeing how this works. The children enjoyed supplementing their fantastic knowledge (the quiz was really competitive! ) 

Next week on Monday, 6AW will also go. Following this, we will be holding an adult quiz online all about some of the things the children will learn! Details will follow next week so keep an eye out! 

It's been fantastic to see all the children be so engaged with recycling and hopefully they'll have come back to you and shared some of their knowledge.
