Following their very successful visit to Holgate Academy on Monday to cook oatcakes, Year 6 were able to add Viking toppings on Tuesday morning. They were able to choose from a variety of sweet and savoury options. These included: honey, jam, butter, cheese, ham, strawberries, apples and pears. Some children were even brave enough to try the tinned herring on offer in true Viking style.
